health

The World Health Organization (WHO) defined health in its broader sense in 1946 as "a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity
although this definition has been subject to controversy. Health is very vital as far as human beings are concerned given this WEFI has adopted a children’s ward at Korle bu Teaching Hospital, P.U.E ward at
Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and Simango ward at 37 Military Hospital in partnership with Soniag Company Limited. Another area that has engaged our attention and has taken a chunk of our resources is the adoption and renovation of the Korle- bu teaching hospital children’s Ward 2nd floor.
Other WEFI Projects Police Station For several decades now, the police services like many public
institutions have had challenges in the area of providing adequate residential accommodation. Over the years, various governments and police administrations seem not to have tackled the problem holistically. Population growth and urbanization could lead to an upsurge in criminal activities hence the need to provide more police stations and residential accommodations for police personnel to protect lives and properties. The reason was that a member's son fell ill and took him to the hospital (Korle-bu) when they got there, the outside was attractive but the inside was a total mess and she said, if this place is like this, how can the children recover early because it seems like they will be adding more sickness to what they already have.
